Class led by Sloan Walsh
This monthly class will provide a community for parents whose kids are entering the next big step in their college career: Sophomore Year. Having navigated the highs and lows of freshman year, our children are facing new choices, new responsibilities and new problems to solve.
Each month we will meet to share lunch and discuss topics such as navigating a possible sophomore slump, managing new academic pressures, making adjustments to original plans, roommates, friendships, dating, sex and mental health just to name a few.
As we step into releasing our children further into young adulthood we will also engage in rich conversations around redefining ourselves and growing a vision for the new chapter in our own lives. We’ll talk about our own mental health, navigating menopause, caring for aging adults, and renewing joy in our marriages.
